Saint Peter’s enjoys the ministry of two priests who share Sunday leadership and pastoral care of the congregation.
The Rev. G. Keith Owen, II Rector
Keith has served as the Rector of Saint Peter’s since August, 2004. He was born, raised, and educated in Virginia. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia (1982) and the General Theological Seminary in New York City (1988). After ordination in 1988, he served for six years at St. Stephen’s Church, Newport News, Virginia, followed by ten years with Saint Paul’s Church in Albany, New York. He lives a few blocks from Saint Peter’s with his wife Monica, and their children Alison, Joshua, and Rachel. Keith can often be found early in the morning at the Lakewood YMCA. He is currently enrolled in Arabic and Islamic studies at Cleveland State University, pursing a lifelong interest in the issues and history of the Middle East.
The Rev. Dr. Nancy H. Wittig Assisting Priest
Nancy has been with us since September, 2oo7. She is an actively retired priest of the Diocese of Pennsylvania, having served as Rector of the Church of Saint Andrew in the Fields in Philadelphia for 20 years. Nancy is a graduate of the University of North Carolina (1969), the Virginia Theological Seminary (1972) and Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary (2005). Nancy also served several parishes in New Jersey. At Saint Peter’s Nancy focuses on Adult Spiritual Life. She leads a prayer group on Mondays and oversees all programs for spiritual growth among adults. Nancy lives in Fairview Park.
