Worship Music

Worship at St. Peter’s is made richer with good music. We enjoy a full choir of parishioners and choral scholars who sing at the 10:00 a.m. Sunday service and other special liturgies during the year.

The St. Peter’s Adult Choir meets for rehearsals on Thursday evenings at 7:30 p.m. and is open to all members of St. Peter’s Church in Lakewood, Ohio. They work hard, enjoy one another, and make a beautiful noise to the Lord!

Our music is accompanied by a majestic Holtkamp pipe organ. We concentrate our musical efforts on the traditional repertoire of the Anglican communion.   However, we often enjoy enriching our Sunday offerings with music from other traditions and cultures. We are especially keen to deploy the musical gifts of parishioners, particularly young ones, who play an instrument.

However, whether or not you can sing or play, all are invited to join their hearts and voices in praise. If the best you can do is hum, then hum away!  If even humming is a challenge, then pray along quietly with the song texts.  God will hear you and take pleasure!
